About the League
The Texas Rugby League Association is a fairly new league in Texas looking to offer programs for men, women and youth players to be involved in the sport. We also offer a touch rugby program for adult and youth players who are seeking a non-tackle option as well. The Houston Seahawks believe in dedication and competition, while being able to have fun, develop friendships, and enjoy life. The Houston Seahawks Rugby League Club is the perfect platform, as it provides the chance to participate in a competition which is both friendly and highly competitive. To remain competitive at this level, our modern training methods will help you improve, have fun, and develop genuine friendships with team mates.

Our Competitions
TRLA 9s Championship Series
The TRLA 9s Championship Series would be an annual series of 9s tournaments hosted by the TRLA and local clubs. The purpose of the series is to develop an elite competition series between teams and develop the game of rugby league in Texas. Teams compete for the TRLA 9s Championship Series title by accumulating points based on their finishing position in each tournament. At this time, due to the women's game still developing, there is only a men's competition.

TRLA 13s Championship
Following the projected success of our 9s season, teams would participate in a 13s season consisting of 6 games, 3 home and 3 away, with the top two in the TRLA Division playing in the TRLA 13s Championship Grand Final. From there, our hope is to see our division champion compete in the USARL playoffs for a chance at the National Championship. At this time, due to the women's game still developing, there is only a men's competition.
